GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
This section is the heart of the juvenile justice
plan and juvenile justice council members have devoted much time and energy
in constructing meaningful goals and objectives that relate to the needs
of Ford County. The council has identified five overarching issues
that are of major concern to youth in Ford County. Each issue contains
goals, objectives, and action steps to reaching the objectives. The five
issues are 1) Substance Abuse 2) Constructive Activities 3) Conflict Resolution
4) Family Management and 5) Suicide-Depression.
The format for this section of the juvenile
justice plan is as follows. Each issue will have its own section, which
will include: the need identified from the data, the goals, objectives,
action steps, and interagency agreement to address the issue.
In addition, the council will begin to address issues of performance
measures and budgetary implications.
